EB1: Can I travel to US on H1B while working as Director for Foreign entity and still qualify for EB1

I have been recently moved to Canada on PR and work for the Canadian office of a US-based company as Director of Analytics. I was on H1B and worked in the US for the parent company for 10 years.  I have a few questions related to EB1

1. If I work in Canada for one year over the next three years as Director, will I qualify for EB1? I was curious if may not get qualified as I already have H1B and was were working for the US office.

2. If I can qualify for EB1, can I travel to the US on H1B during those three years? There is no availability of tourist visa slots and I need to travel to the US for meetings.
