I am planning to start the green card processing now and going to stay in India for a year due to personal commitments. Are there any issues with applying for green card and then taking a year break in India and then come back? Also, if green card processing is not completed by next year, will I be allowed to renew my R1-Visa for re-entry? Quote Link to comment
