Shruti1983 Posted August 3, 2011 Report Share Posted August 3, 2011 Hi Group, I was telling my employer to file my PERM for last 1 and half years. However every time he was procrastinating. When I threatened him that I will transfer my H1 to other company he finally told me that he has sent the PERM petition and job design to Attorny to process. But I dont know whether he really started the process. Can I ask a copy of the petition sent to the USCIS. Regards Shruti Link to comment
Attorney_9 Posted August 3, 2011 Report Share Posted August 3, 2011 PERM is filed with the Department of Labor not USCIS. Generally the case is filed online, and although a case number is issued for the application there is no public access site to check the status. As the Labor Certification belongs to the employer, the company is not obligated to provide the documentation of that filing to its employees. Link to comment
