engee_works
Good Evening Members and Experts I was converted as FTE back in 2019. Due to professional commitments I could not travel to home country for visa stamping. 2020 due to the pandemic , US borders as well as US consulates were shut down. Now i am hearing there are visa appointments available at New Delhi consulate for late march/ early April 2022. That would leave about 4.5 months on my current I-797A. I have I-140 approved and eligible for 3 year further h1b extensions. Is it safe to travel with less than 4.5 months validity left on I-797A ?? or is it better to first apply for h1b extension in 2022 then go for stamping in 2022. Thank you very much in advance. lovely
Should be ok as long as your passport doesn't expire within ~6months and you don't have any other concerns with your application in general, read through the forum & you will notice some travelled with 2months left on their visa.
