Tanushree Ghosh
I have an current approved H1B visa but my employer has lost my previous H1B approval. would I still need my previous H1B documents for Green card processing and for any other future extensions? If yes, what is the process of getting the duplicate copy of previous H1B document and can I apply for it on my own without my employer. Quote Link to comment
02112018
Yes, every document is required for now and for future proceedings with USCIS to prove that you are/were on status all the time. Even though govt. have all of your data, they still expect you to prove it. So I think your employer can retrieve another copy of your h1 approval via lawyer filing a request to USCIS.
