mrsvkr
Hi, The place of birth mentioned in DS-160 was incorrect, but in the Passport and Birth Certificate are in sync. It was identified during the biometric, they queried me is that fine with that place of birth mentioned in the DS-160 since it is in with-in the state and biometric is done with the same ds-160 application. Will it be a problem during the visa interview and the port of entry, or should I inform this to visa interviewer? Is it possible the visa interviewer to correct the place of birth in DS-160 or is there any way to correct it on my end? Could you please suggest me what I should do? Quote Link to comment
LeaveMessageH1B
Usually applicant files ds160 so there has to be error from applicant side. Do not rely on visa interviewer to fix it, there are chances that you might be sent back due to this. Fix it when you already know that the mistake is, do it before interview. Quote Link to comment
