Confused between EB3 downgrade vs EB2 i-485 with Oct 2021 bulletin

Hello,

MY PD is - 16 APR 2012  with EB2 India (i-140 approved with current employer few years back).

Now with the Oct 2021 visa bulletin, Dates For Filing chart is open for me to file i-485 with EB2. 

I'm confused whether I should file i-485 with EB2 or do the i-140 downgrade to EB3 and file AOS since my date is current in the Final Action chart of EB3.

I've heard from people who filed downgrades in Oct/Nov last year that the downgrades are taking a lot of time vs. straight filing cases (even to get EAD/AP)

From Oct visa bulletin, EB3 might retrogress whereas EB2 will advance several months in coming months.

What would be the best course of action for my case?
