I had applied for a change of status from H4 to F1 last year and it has still not come. My college says if I don't get it by next month I will lose the opportunity of applying OPT and they will have to cancel my F1. I was confused if my change of status approval for F1 comes in the middle or late in my semester will I be out of status then as I can't apply OPT?
