SofieB Posted July 27, 2021 Report Posted July 27, 2021 I am an European citizen with an H1B visa and I live and work in the US. I have not been home since before the pandemic and I am soon ready to do anything to see my family. I have heard you can travel through Mexico (stay in Mexico for 14 days) to not violate the travel ban on Europe. Is this an option? And is there a risk that I will not be able to enter the US for any reason? Thank you so much, Quote
Naryishere Posted August 22, 2021 Report Posted August 22, 2021 Hi, I am in the same boat as you. I lost my father, my brother & his wife to covid and my mother suffered with covid too and is recovering now. I wasnt able to travel as I am on H1B and the proclamation restricts us from entering US. Now I want to travel to India and be with my mom for few weeks to be able to give her some emotional support. Can someone suggest if it is ok to come back to US via mexico(quaratine 14 days)? Quote
