virohi Posted December 29, 2020 Report Share Posted December 29, 2020 Hi, My green card was applied in EB3 category and it approved with priority date is 2016 Nov. Based on the current dates for EB3 green card processing there are high changes of my priority date becoming current date. What will happen if I change my Employer now?. Can my approved petition be carried further or my new employer has to start the process all over again?. Will my new employer has to file PERM and I-140 again? If yes, then there might be possibility of my priority date becoming current in a mean time. This might lead to losing a change to get Green card on old i140.
