sgumma Posted August 25, 2011 Report Share Posted August 25, 2011 I applied my wife H4 extension on April 21 along with my H1 petition. I got my H1 approved in premimum processing. But my wifes H4 is pending for more than 4 months now. Here are my questions 1) Can she stay beyond 180 days until her petition is approved? 2) Will she have to go out of the country to get her H4 stamping if she does not get an approval within the 180 days rule? What are my options? Can she continue to stay beyond 180 days on the basis of pending petition? Link to comment
