vasu854 Posted October 6, 2020 Report Posted October 6, 2020 Hello Sir, I am applying I765 as part of my I485 application and have one question regarding part 1 "I am applying for" option from I765. What to choose, Is it Initial Perimission for Employment or Renewal for Employment. Here is my case, I applied EAD in 2007 along with I140, 485 concurrent filing and got EAD approved for year and also renewed EAD from 2009 to 2011, but in 2009 my I140 got denied and so all 485 and EAD got denied. Now applying I485 as fresh with new employer, so I765 considered as Renewal or Initial ? My attorney saying , should be renewal, but wanted to make sure Thanks Vasu Quote
