Should I fill Form I944 while filing I485

I am in the process of filing I485 for me and for my wife under employment based category. 

I am the principal applicant and my wife is the derivative applicant. My wife is not working and I am the earning member of my household. 

Should I be filling I944 as well for both myself and for my wife while filing for adjustment of status ?

Yes, I-944 doc is must required document now

Technically its optional till 10/13/2020.

USCIS cannot reject your application but may RFE you. the form is cumbersome but might save you a few months delay.

So now it is clear that derivative applicant of my I-140 should file I-944. Just a follow up question on that. Do we need to  fill the Education and Skills section for derivative applicant? If yes , do we need to submit the Academy Equivalency Evaluation? Please advise
