H4 document missing for I485 Filing need inputs

Hi,

My spouse got stamped in the year 2015 first time and came to U.S. Then I switch the company got H1B for the year 2015 to 2017.  I was stayed in temporary address and employer used the same while filing H4 as well. After that while filing extension for the year 2017 to 2019 realize that H4 missing from the year 2015 to 2017.  When I checked with employer attorney confirmed that they filed in 2015 but some how missed the document. So now I need to file I485 but my new employer asking for missing H4 document to prove her status. I am following up with my previous employer but is there any alternate way to prove her status? or any solution?
