Virginia529
My Spouse is the primary Employee. Our Priority date got current. My birth certificate from India does not have a name on it and it is in Hindi. What can I do to solve this problem since birth certificate is required for I-485 filing. Quote Link to comment
Sureshsambu
You can get a birth certificate translation service from Atlanta based on recommendation from Indian consulate in Atlanta. They can also issue a birth certificate substitute document based on your passport. we did that for my son’s driving license Quote Link to comment
gprx
You can get a notarized letter from Indian authority for both parents with all the details. You can search google for examples. Quote Link to comment
happydude9
I believe your(Parents) need to get it notarized/affidavit in India stating that the birth certificate is in fact yours and that your name, family name and date of birth match all of your official records and send the original to you.
