However my husbands H1 is valid till sep 2022 as he got transfered to a different company last year. I didn’t apply for H4 at that time as H4 transfer was not mandatory. My questions are, Since H4 extension is taking time these days can I apply for my H4 extension based on my husbands new approved petition now or I can apply only 6 months prior to expiry? If I can apply for H4 extension now and if I don’t get the decision 6 months before my EAD expiry can I apply EAD based on this pending H4 application? Edited September 23, 2020 by kalyani Quote
