sam_red Posted July 30, 2020 Report Posted July 30, 2020 My mother in law currently is visiting from India and her 6 months completed in May 2020 but because international flights were not active we had to request an extension of stay by 6 months (Nov 2020) [I-539]. Its been 3 months since filing and we are waiting to hear back on this 1st extension request But the Covid-19 situation has not improved and it doesn't feel safe for her to travel until a vaccine especially with her pre-existing conditions. Is it possible to get one more extension without going out of status? Please provide any advice. -Sam Quote
