krprems Posted July 4, 2020 Report Share Posted July 4, 2020 I am working in the USA on H1B and my wife is currently working in India. I didn't apply for an H4 visa because her employer already had an L1B individual petition filed for her and that got approved 3 months back. Due to consulate shutdown and with a recent order from US president, she cannot get her L1B visa stamping until end of this year but she already have B1/B2 visa and made a business visit 2 years back so can she take a break from work for 2-3 months now and travel on B2 visa to stay with me? Would her travel on B2 visa create risks when she goes for L1B visa stamping next year? if yes, What are the risk, and is there any way to mitigate it? Quote Link to comment
