H1B Extension Pending due to H4 Biometrics?

My H1B Extension along with H4 Extension for my dependents were filed and receipt by USCIS was on Feb 24 2020.

Subsequently, I had received notice for Bio-metrics for my dependents on March 16th 2020. Since the service centers were closed, the appointments were cancelled and they are yet to be rescheduled.

Meanwhile, my H1B extension has been pending for 120 days since February with the status "Case was received". All my friends and colleagues who had applied for extension got their approved within few weeks.

Is my extension pending because the bio-metrics of my dependents are not yet complete?

Biometrics are for H4 and not for H1. You should check the I129 processing times and raise a SR if its past your date.

Thanks for your reply. The I129 processing time for H1B Extensions got pushed to back to Dec 2018 from Feb 2020 for California processing center. This is so weird. The attorneys said, I can initiate a request after 210 days.
