iroonawoo Posted June 17, 2020 Report Posted June 17, 2020 I am applicant I-485. Last year I got combo cards for the whole family. I am an ongoing EB4, religious worker. My visa processing form F1 and got R1 and then I-360 approved and then I applied I-485. Last year August, I got a receipt of I-485. Yesterday, I got this message from USCIS. What is the mean? I think I didn't overpay fee, also my priority date was fine. they send this message: USCIS made the decision to refund the fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number WAC1990318255. Your refund will be mailed to the fee remitter on file. This refund does not affect the processing or location of your case. Quote
Shavez Williams Posted October 10, 2020 Report Posted October 10, 2020 Hi there. I too received the same notice this year in July for me and my whole family. After our file was 11 months in the process the same notice came to us. My lawyer sent the whole file back as it was and it came back again. The USCIS wants us to refile everything all over again on the updated version of the form. What's happened at your end? Quote
Shavez Williams Posted October 28, 2020 Report Posted October 28, 2020 Any update on your case? Did you proceed to refile your I-485 again after the file was closed and fee refunded? Quote
