Karan Kanchetty
Hello, I'm currently on H1B Visa. I arrived in India in the first week of March and by the time my return flight to the US was scheduled, all the international flights were canceled. I was told that I cannot work from India due to some corporate issues for the company and the only solution I had to choose is to go on unpaid leave until I can go back to the US and resume. I was wondering if it could lead to any issues/problems at immigration in the current situation. My visa expires in Oct 2022. Please help. Thank you. Quote Link to comment
cap-gap
After a prolonged absence in H1, typically at POE they ask for proof that your job is still available.. so as long as your job remains and you carry such proof, it would be ok.. Quote Link to comment
