Question on wifes 485 application

My PD got current in July 2011 bulletin (received GC on 13th July)and I applied my wife's 485 (july 5th). The fee was $1070 and I sent her 485 and biometric application. I did not send any AP or EAD application.

So I only received her 485 receipt notice(12thJuly). My question is

1.Do I need to send AP and EAD applications also along with 485?

2. Did I do anything wrong my not sending AP/EAD applications?
