Krishna_Y89 Posted April 13, 2020 Report Share Posted April 13, 2020 I am an F1-student currently in STEM extension. My F1-visa and STEM expire in Aug 2020. I have i-797B H1 approved in the consular notification. I should get my H1 visa stamped before Aug 2020 to stay in status. As the consulates are closed and my visa appointment is canceled, what should I do? Is there any extension that I can avail of? Can I go to Canada and get my first H-1 visa stamped if the consulate in India is closed for appointments? Quote Link to comment
