I-94 valid till april 2020 for employer A, is it possible to apply for Multiple H1B transfer, are there any issues or inter dependencies for new employers transfer applications ?

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

I am currently working for employer A, my I-94 is valid till April 2020 and extension is in process under premium.

I got two offers from employer B and C. Both of the employers are ready if I join after approval notice.

My question is - Can I apply for two h1b transfers just to have options wide considering currently situation.

I will continue to work for employer A until I get approval.

If employer B files for transfer before current I-94 expiry, does it consider bridge petition?

And If employer C files for transfer after the current I-94 gets expire, does it consider a bridge petition? if yes, will it depend on Employer A extension status or Employer B transfer petition ?

If I get approval for employer A before B, but I want to join employer B, will there be any issue?

Yes, They can also file under Consular processing, so check with Emp C on how they plan on filing.

You will have to wait for B's approval to join them.

Thank you so much for your response.

I have few more queries -

My extension is currently in the process from my current employer A and I got Rfe, which is still pending. If USICS receive transfer application from employer B, can there be a possibility that USICS notify my current employer whether they want to still process the extension as they have received transfer case?

Thanks in advance for your help!

No, USCIS will not notify Emp A about Emp B's petition.
