Krish2021 Posted March 5, 2020 Report Share Posted March 5, 2020 Hi - I am currently in Location A getting Level 2 wage. My employer request me to move my location to B through amendment. Job duties and project going to be same. Fact here is - level 2 wage of location B is lesser than of wage level 2 of current location A. Also my actual wage is lesser than of level 2 wage of location B. Is my new LCA for location B going to reduced to level 2 wage of location B or will it remain same as that of location A since I have already lived more than 1.5 years on this wage or going to be in the middle between these level 2 both. I am running in 11 years in same company which includes 4 years in onshore.. I am in Associate grade in my company. Please advise. Quote Link to comment

All my question is - If I go for amendment from location A to B, will my new LCA amount get reduced to match with location B. User099 Posted March 13, 2020 Report Share Posted March 13, 2020 LCA amount is just a threshold and you need to be paid above it. But how much you employer will pay you will depends on your employer. There is no rule that your employer will have to pay you less for location B since the prevailing wage is less in Location B than A. Quote Link to comment
