L1B extension- i129s expiring but Visa stamp and i94 valid for 2 more years

Hi, I am in US on L1B blanket visa and my petition is expiring in May 2020. However my Visa stamp is valid till June 2022 and i94 valid till Nov 2022. My company is saying, there is no need to file for an extension Is it legal for someone to work from US without a valid i129s, but with valid i94 and visa stamp?

If there is NO need to extend my petition, can I apply for my dependent(son) visa from India based on my petition that is due expiring ? can my spouse travel to US after my i129s expires? what will happen if I travel to India and try to re-enter US?

Hi, 

I am in the same situation as yours. My I129S is expiring in Nov 2020 and my employer advised not to file extension as i94 and Visa are still valid. Did you file extension?
