chinnareddy578
Hi,My H1b ext is pending and current visa expired at Dec 27, 2019. Submitted RFE and waiting for the decision, but not sure whether I get the approval or not because my client is not providing any documents. So, I'm planning to switch the client and file new ext petition that client. But, I'm not sure it is possible or not, because current visa expired, but my i94 valid until Jan 16, 2022(from https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/recent-results).I'm looking for some suggestion here from who some went through this kind of situations. User099
Since you I94 is expired, you can file a new petition under consular processing for the new client and go for visa stamping. Your extension will most likely be denied if you are not able to submit documents for the RFE, so its better not to do a bridge petition. Quote Link to comment
