CanadianGuy20
Hi I am a Canadian student in a Canadian University and I am going to the US for a one day trip to attend an interview at a US university for a research internship position. Is it considered business or personal ? That's not traveling for pleasure and it is not really a business travel. I am not sure. Please advise. What should I check in my declaration form ? cyberlord
B1=Business/Conference etc. B2=Tourism/Medical Your case is aligned more towards B1. I suppose you will have to opt for B1 in DS-160, however, you will be granted B1/B2 if your visa gets approved . Quote Link to comment
