user7999
Hello, I got my h1-B approved last year but I didn’t want to continue with that employer due to some reasons so then that employer submitted for the withdrawal. After the withdrawal confirmation, I asked the university to reactivate SEVIS. Since the SEVIS reactivation is still in process and I need to visit India for some emergency reason, is it safe to travel India while your SEVIS reactivation is still in process? And re-enter U.S after SEVIS data is fixed with updated I-20? Quote Link to comment
User099
Its better to check with your DSO and also an attorney. I think you will not be able to travel back till your SEVIS is reactivated if you leave the country and your DSO will know how long that will take. SO depending on that you can make your travel plans. Quote Link to comment
