DUI pending case and h1b extension filing

hi everyone,

i had a DUI(i regret it every minute since it happened) on dec-6 and next court hearing is jan-21 (2020).My employer (FTE) is about to file for extension.

just want to check anyone applied extension in recent times with DUI and got it approved without RFE.

i truly appreciate your help.

its Massachusetts.i  did hire a lawyer and next hearing will be jan-21.my employed is filing extension in premium.my question is its just initial arraignment is finished at court.so would there be any RFE between now and jan-21 if we file in premium.(assuming a decision will be made in 15 calendar days)

The extension from employer should not be a problem. In the questionnaire from your employer, please mention about the incident, if there is a question. I have had 2 extensions from the time the incident happened. 

 

Please be truthful in all occasions.

Did you get rfe for dui with any of your extensions? And if you did was the rfe issued for extension post medical test ?

@Pk2020my extension has not filed yet(there was some mistake with LCA).i hope it will be filed in a week or so.and i am sorry about your DUI.i hope yours will be approved.i don't think you should inform your attorney if its already filed.

have you heard of any RFE for H1B extension or Transfer ?  I am just thinking if at all we have to worry about I-129 form submissions for H1B. Extension or transfer? I know that we need to go thru extra process during Visa stamping in India

do you mean that DUI case with court is still in progress ?

Have you informed your attorney about DUI for H1B extension .
