chnimmi Posted October 2, 2019 Report Share Posted October 2, 2019 Hello Everyone, Need some help/advice regarding my issue. I am working with my H4 EAD with validity till end of 2020. Me and my husband both had approved I797 till 2020 end. However, when my husband changed the project, the amendment reduced the validity period. I want to know can I keep on working with a valid non-expired EAD even if my spouse's H1 extension/transfer in progress. I got info that as long as my EAD is non-expired and my spouse is in status (with receipt), there should be no problem. But I wanted to check from the experts here. Many Thanks. Quote Link to comment
