SwethaM Posted September 30, 2019 Report Share Posted September 30, 2019 Hi, I was layed off from my company in March 2018. With in 2 days they called me and said there was a mistake. I rejoined and everything is fine. But after 1 and half years when I wanted to extend, hr said they did mistake by not informing legal team. Legal team told they will reinstate the Visa but I should go on unpaid leave till approved. The receipt number says case received bon June 2018 ,still in received status. I went to India and came last month with I 94 till next year. Can I go on unpaid leave? Is my status legal? I have been working and being paid all the time. Quote Link to comment
