balaji1074 Posted July 20, 2019 Report Posted July 20, 2019 Hi, Ned your opinion on my case, My PWD was approved on May14th, post that my employer started the recruitment process, and completed the recruitment on July 7th 2019, Post that when i asked my employer to file my Perm, he says that there has to be a cooling period of 30th after the recruitment process is completed. Is there any such rule or can they file the PERM as soon as my recruitment is completed. My current H1b is getting maxed out on Sep 18th 2019. Also is there any way to get an extension based on my PERM application?. Below are some of the dates. May 14th - PWD approval May 15th - Job ad posted on govt site. May 29th - Paper Ad June 2nd - Second Paper Ad June 7th - Ad posted on Dice.com and also at my company portal. July 7th - Recruitment completed. In the above case, there was almost 60 days of wait time for all the ad.
