H1B Amendment Denied with valid I94 and same job position not available on earlier client

HI ,

 

i am working for Employer X in client location A due to materiel change i filed Amendment to new client B which was denied and i do have still Valid I-94 till this Aug 19 end. Generally as i have valid visa i need to go back to old location with same employer but unfortunately the client support was ended last year for the role which i was working in the past that's where i had to look for new client which filed H1B amendment.

I am working to file new H1B amendment for the denied location with updated information.

Between that.

1) Can i stay on the same location where amendment got denied but not working to client though my employer will pay by doing organization work(consider as bench).

2) Can i go back to old location and re-apply the H1B amendment but not working to old client though my employer will pay by doing organization work(consider as bench).

3) other option people suggested me to back india which i am not comfort with denial and stamping issues.

please suggest if anybody gone through this phase.

Hi did you get any feedback from your company lawyer? I am almost on same boat except I am awaiting my decision. my application is not denied. but amendment is filed and waiting for reply. so wanted to check with you what were options represented by your lawyer. Thanks.
