Driver license expiry as i94 end date

1) I am about to apply l1 extension before i94 expiry,, how to drive after expiry date as my DL date is tagged by i94 last date ? 

2) if my l1 extension denied ( bad scenario ) during 240 grace period can I switch to expired approved h1 B receipt. ? 

3) any others safe precaution suggestion please 🙂

If you are in California, they have a law to extend the license for some time. Please check with local DMV. Also carry your Reciept Notice.
