SDhan
Hi, My parents visited last year with a return ticket after six months. During their stay, we decided to extend their stay by 2 more months and applied i539 before 60 days of their i94 expiry. We got a receipt but never got any approval/rejection status. They left to India. Meanwhile I changed address but forgot to update USCIS about the change. When I check the status of this case now online, it says that a notice was mailed and returned by post office as non-deliverable as of Dec 2018. I changed my address online for the case. I also submitted a e-request to resend the notice to my address to which I got a response that the request will be processed in 20 days. I tried calling to USCIS directly but could never connect to an agent. Will I get a response for such requests? I am planning to bring my parents again to US for a short duration. Will that be a problem if that extension was rejected (which I dont know yet) or pending because of delay in responding back from my side? Link to comment
