H1B Stamping at Mumbai consulate

Mumbai consulate has started to hold H and L visa from today. I was wondering if any one had interview today then please share your experiences as I am planning to go next week.

Hi.

Can you share how did you get your apointment? I am in the US and trying to get a visa stamping apointment but the VFS website doesnt show Mumbai availability. I believe there are others in this forum who have the same question. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Good news...I just saw Mumbai consulate visa date open for Septembe 12th!!! They are taking a slow approach but it's happening for sure! Good luck to everyone.

Even I am looking for a stamping date in Mumbai, now Sep 12 was open since Saturday. But I dont understand what is keeping them from opening appointments quickly. Other consulates have opened till end of sep.

I think they are opening only one day schedules. And they go away quickly. Please share if someone had interview over there.

the dates in mumbai are open only for new H1B visa stamping or if you have visa which has expired 12 months back ...

Do you guys fall in the above category? i m trying to find a date for visa renewal but no dates are open in mumbai since last 2 weeks.

I dont see any dates open for Mumbai consulate. Does anyone at what time they open dates, even if they are of 1 day schedules ?
