EB3 to EB2 Porting - Job Qualification not met

Hi Gurus,

I joined the current company using AC21.

My PD will be current if I can port from EB3 to EB2. My HR says, by the time I get GC, technically I need to be in that position that we file in LC for EB2 processing.

For the open positions in my company’s Internal Job Board, my current job status do not match. Worst part is, to qualify for the EB2 position based on my company’s job descriptions, by the time I get GC (say, 1-4 years), I need to get double promotions and I cannot talk my manger/director into it (for the sake of it).

Do I have any other options or suggestions that I can pursue further?

p.s: I have enough experience and masters to qualify for EB2..
