Payroll during the H-1B Transfer

Hello All, I have changed the employer from A to B last year March(2018). During hte transfer time my old employer ran the pay roll for March and April-2018 and for filing purpose my new employer also ran the payroll from March 10-2018. I just realized that conflict after receiving the W-2 from my old employer, though he didn't pay me the money he ran the Payroll for legal purposes. Can you please tell me if there will any legal problems for me having pay from two different employers for the same month/s on two different H-1B petitions?
