H1B First time visa stamping in CANADA (F1 to H1)

Can I go to Canada for my first H1B visa stamping?

Did any thing change recently any new rule that for first time we have to go to our home country? Is this true?

or I can still go to Canada? 

How is the recent H1B visa approval rate. Could you please help and give your valuable info. 

If I get 221G then how many days can I stay in Canada?

No. if dates available you can go anywhere.

Go through all success posts in Murthy for success rate.

Depends on the color of 221G you get.

if issued 221g  with canada visitng visa you can stay < 6months . If you intend to go canada for stamping , first get your visiting visa done and then block a visa date .Do you work in EC /EVC / EVVC  ?  .

I had 1st time h1B stamp interview in Ottawa Canada on Nov 28th 2018. I got blue form 221g. Expect 1 month+ waiting time.
