Pittguy28
Hello All, My name is Kamaraju, I am on H1B from the last 3yrs, My employer has applied for extension under PP. There was an RFE about Employer-Employee relationship, we have responded with the related documents. Now my worry is that my I-94 is soon going to expire in a week, and if I do not get my H1B extension approved will I be out of status? If i get my new H1B extension do I have to go out of USA to get stamping done/get new I-94? or can I stay with my approved H1B extension for another 2yrs and then get visa stamping done. Thanks Kamaraju Link to comment
RajaG_76
As long as you have filed extension you are good. You will get new I 94 with your extension approval notice. No need to leave the country. However next time you travel out of country, you will need to get your stamping done. Link to comment
tusharvk
yes. current proc time are quite large. So, we just need to get our 129 petitions in time before the i-94 expiry. alternately, one can always request prem processing and get a response in 10 days. Link to comment
