guest33
Hi, I got my GC approved recently, but I have a pending EAD/AP. Is it possible to cancel the processing of EAD/AP and retrieve the filing fees in this scenario. Do I need to call USCIS? Experts, please advise...your help will be much appreciated. Thanks. mohankc
You can if that gives you any peace of mind, but don't have to, although I would recommend not doing anything. USCIS will most likely deny them (mine got denied after I-485 approval), but I have also read cases where people reported getting their EAD/AP approved after becoming PRs. Nothing to worry in either way. And, no, you cannot recoup your money once it was accepted by USCIS. Link to comment
gc485process
If the checks have been cashed then you cannot do anything. if not you can put a stop payment. Link to comment
chicagoan
Firstly, all USCIS fees is non-refundable. Secondly, these days there's no extra EAD/AP fees, it's included with your I-485 application. Link to comment
