Anita2411
Hi , I am in US , my Son(14 yrs) went to India for summer vacation . He had Visa interview on July/22/2018, The VO gave him a white slip asking him a submit a new passport as his passport did not have 6 months validity in it . Since i am a single parent and residing in the US , it took us almost 1.5 months to get a new passport for my son through a guardian in India. My son submitted his new passport to the VFS on Sep/10, it is almost 2 weeks now and the Visa status shows 'administrative processing' . He has already lost 1 month schooling . I send mails to the support center and they respond asking me to wait for 60 days . I am not sure if i should put him in a school in India for this year or wait for 60 days .Please advise is there any communication channel where i can get any status or reason for the delay and maybe communicate that this is a minor and is affecting his schooling. Provence
Admin processing takes as long as it takes. It's only been a week! Link to comment
