Filed 485 last month

I filed my 485 last month (eb3 india).  I also got the receipt last week. 

Today the September 2018 visa bulletin shows the eb3 India catergory go back 6 years!!!! 

Does this affect me as my application was already filed when my priority date was current last month and I already got receipt from USICS. 

Please advice..

Your I-485 is fine. It will stay pending until the PD is current again.

USCIS will continue to work on your case and will schedule finger printing, interview (if any) and any other internal activities need to proceed with the case. The only difference is that in order to approve/deny the case, they will need PD to become current for you. If all your activities are completed then the case will be on hold and then as soon as PD becomes current for you, they will issue decision.
