Hello,

I am residing in the US on H-1B visa. My current H-1B expires on August 31st, 2018 and my H-B extension has already been approved until 2021. I am planning to go to India in September for visa stamping.

While filling out the questionnaire for dropbox IWP and I need assistance as to understand what should be my answer to below question.

"Is your previous H-1B visa (temporary occupation, temporary worker or trainee) still valid?"

---> My current visa expires on August 31st 2018. I will be going for Stamping in September 2018. Should I put answer Yes or NO?

Thank you in advance.

This one is a little tricky but historically few forum readers have stated as "NO" since it is true on the day of your interview and the date you completed the application is no longer taken into consideration. But you might want to double check with your attorney/employer as they might have dealt with this scenario.

Hello,

I have the same situation, what did you select Yes or No.

My old visa expired 31/Dec/2018, but I am going to India on 18/Jan/2019. What should I select now when answering the visa validity question ?
