Applying to both NOS and IGA J1 waiver

Can I apply for both an IGA and a No Objection J1 waiver simultaneously? I have a pending NOS J1 waiver application at DOS. My employer is considering filing an IGA waiver in the coming few  weeks. Do I have to withdraw my NOS application or can I apply for IGA waiver while the NOS waiver application is pending? I read somewhere that it is possible but one needs to submit a separate J-1 Waiver Recommendation Application (Data Sheet) to the U.S. State Department for each waiver sought and pay a separate processing fee. Any thoughts or experience is much appreciated. Thank you. HAA
