Notarized employer offer letter for interview

Hi,

I have EB3 interview scheduled in May 2018. I am confused regarding the need of notarized offer letter from employer dated less than a month ago. It is not mentioned in the interview letter, US consulate website. Also, my lawyer has mentioned that notarized letter is not required. However, I read in multiple interview experiences that they have carried it.

Pl confirm. My employer may not be able to furnish the notarization.

You seem to have heeded lawyer's suggestion in the past, so why not now?  A notarized letter is usually not required. 

On another note, if this employer has offered you a job opportunity as claimed in a previous post, what prevents them from issuing a letter now?

For Consular Processing, a notarized offer letter is required. It is really easy to notarize it, takes less than 10 minutes. The employer should easily be able to do that. Bigger companies may even have somebody on staff who is a Notary.
