H1B Amendment in RFE, Extension is approved, Which I94 should be considered as latest?

My 6 years in H1B is expiring in May 2018.

My H1B Location/Role Amendment was applied without including I140 approval in October 2017 in normal processing mode. Got RFE in March 2018, my employer is going to respond to that shortly.

My H1B Extension was applied in Feb 2018 using I140 approval, and subsequently upgraded to Premium processing - Got approved recently as per USCIS. Yet to know the duration for which it is approved.

If the original amendment is also approved later, which I94 would be considered valid? - The one approved with H1B Extension (presumably for a longer duration), or the one with the original amendment (presumably with shorter duration)?

Please advise.
