LazyImmigrant Posted February 22, 2018 Report Share Posted February 22, 2018 My company filed for an amendment without an extension of stay about 14 months ago. While the amendment was pending, they filed for an extension of stay which was approved and I got a new I94 with an expiry date in 2021. Today I received the amendment approval with a I94 with a expiry date that matched the original I94 date which is about 3 months from now. Does my status expire 3 months or 3 years from now? If it is 3 months from now, are my only options to file for an extension again, or travel outside the country and then come back in? Quote Link to comment
