My H1B was approved in December 2017. My employer says he still did not receive the official copy of i797A. I have tracked my status in the USCIS site and it shows "Document was Mailed".

I am planning to visit my home country this march and go for change of status stamping. Will it be okay if I book my visa slot without getting my I797A? 

Please let me know.
