Dheeraj2506 Posted February 1, 2018 Report Share Posted February 1, 2018 My H1B was approved in December 2017. My employer says he still did not receive the official copy of i797A. I have tracked my status in the USCIS site and it shows "Document was Mailed". I am planning to visit my home country this march and go for change of status stamping. Will it be okay if I book my visa slot without getting my I797A? Please let me know. Thanks. Link to comment
